OUR STORY
Smoky's Barbecue has been a locally owned and operated family business for more than 25 years. Changing hands only two times, we have been able to maintain the high standard of food and service that Danny and Barbara Carter set when they initially started out.
Since our beginning, our restaurant has been welcomed by the community and that continues to make the business a success today. We believe in being an active member in our community that has given us so much. We donate to fundraisers when we can, sponsor local youth team and host the girl scouts during cookie season among other community-driven events.
Our staff is a mix of first-time workers and seasoned veterans who have been with us for years. Family is one of our core values and our staff is our extended family. We have been there for each others milestones, seen many start families of their own, and even seen some go off to serve our country. We have had plenty of good times and while we bicker and argue like any family, at the end of the day we win and lose as a team.
Our family is not only made up of our wonderful staff, but also our customers new and old. We love seeing familiar faces walk through the door and are grateful to have the opportunity to share in their stories. We enjoy giving the "Cheers"-like atmosphere where everyone knows your name (or at least your order). And while we value our regulars, we welcome the first-timers as well.
We are blessed to have been a part of this community for so long and thank everyone, whether it be employee, customer or vendor for their support throughout the years.
